Transit Connections

Once completed, the A-train will offer greater local and regional connections with existing DCTA bus services in Denton, Lewisville and Highland Village and with DART bus and light rail service at Trinity Mills in Carrollton. DCTA is currently developing the bus feeder routes that will connect the Agency’s five stations with important destinations throughout its Service Area. DART is building the Green Line to meet DCTA at Trinity Mills. Once this section is complete, DCTA and DART will form at 50-mile regional rail network that ties Denton County to downtown Dallas and areas south including Fair Park.  This system is part of a larger 350 mile regional rail network included in the North Central Texas Council of Governments
