Overview
Under the A-train D/M/WBE Program, both the DCTA and the North Texas Rail Group (NTRG) have made collaborative efforts in exceeding pre-construction and construction goals through the utilization of disadvantaged businesses. By providing equal opportunities for local businesses within the community, our goal is for these businesses to experience growth and to gain valuable long-term partnerships.
Project Goals
The DCTA and The North Texas Rail Group Strongly encourage the utilization of D/M/WBE firms during the performance of this project. The NTRG gives support to the DCTA’s goal of establishing long term growth through self-performance and partnerships that allow mentoring from construction firms. For this project, the NTRG has partnered with CARCON Industries to manage the D/M/WBE Utilization Program. In order to achieve this goal and to create community awareness, the NTRG will partner with Minority Organizations, Chambers of Commerce and Contractors Associations throughout the DFW Area.
Assistance for D/M/WBE Participation
For either D/M/WBE mentoring, assistance with certification, services for D/M/WBE firms, appointments can be arranged during business hours.

Certification Assistance
Our team provides certification assistance at no cost to small businesses that are qualified as DBE, MBE or WBE certified through the (NCTRCA) North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency. We have designated a D/M/WBE liaison officer that is available to advise small businesses to become certified through the NCTRCA.
